Intertwined is a shaped by mark-making. An exploration of what was poured, layered and reflected onto the canvas and settling into a thoughtful composition. It suggests that absence can carry as much weight as presence. And what is removed is just as meaningful as what remains.
Using poured paint and a trowel, the surface is layered, textured and expressive. Though small in size, the work suggest a sense of space, movement, and quiet depth.
