Meet Shelly
Shelly’s work features swift, expressive movements and layered, tonal color. Her artistic journey has moved from abstract figures to landscapes and most recently to intuitive, gestural abstraction.
Growing up with a builder as a parent, she naturally incorporates construction tools into her process, most often applying paint with a carpenter’s trowel. Through textured surfaces and transparent layers, Shelly channels human emotion—creating work that can feel both soothing and intense, capturing the complexity of layered feelings.
